Two teenagers have been arrested for car theft following a four-car pile up which injured several people in Ditchling yesterday.
An 18-year-old man from Surrey was arrested yesterday and was still being quizzed by detectives this morning. A 16-year-old, also from Surrey, was released on police bail until May 9.
Four people were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, for treatment to injuries as a result of the crash, which happened at 1.17pm. None of were assessed as life-threatening.
The road was closed for several hours and police have thanked motorists for their patience and understanding while the scene was examined and cleared and the road made safe.
