A roof fire broke out in a house Brighton's Eastern Road this morning, causing traffic hold ups in the area.
A spokeswoman from East Sussex Fire and Rescue said: “We were called to an address in Eastern Road, Brighton, at 10.15am to reports of a fire in the roof of a building.
"One hose reel was used to put the fire out, which started accidently. There were no injuries and our unit left just before 11am.”
Brighton and Hove Buses says it is causing delays to routes 1, 1A, 2, 2A, 7 and 14C.
We can now proceed along Eastern Road but there are still delays
