A Hove resident has been forced to apply for planning permission for a treehouse he has build in his back garden.
Sinclair Bilton, living in Hove Park Road, has applied to Brighton and Hove City Council for permission to retain a wooden treehouse.
The resident is proposing to plant conifers between the treehouse and a nearby fence to completely hide the hut and to paint it green to obscure it.
A decision is expected in April.
