Thieves are targeting cars parked in beauty spots.

Now Sussex Police has issued a warning.

The force said: “There have been some more thefts from vehicles parked in beauty spot car parks across Chichester district.

“If you are using rural car parks please ensure you do not leave any items on display within the vehicle, and be aware of who may be around you if you are concealing items within your vehicle before leaving it.

“If you see any people or vehicles that are behaving suspiciously in any way please make a note of descriptions and/or vehicle details and let us know asap.”
