Congratulations to The Argus (March 10) for publishing images by Terry Applin of Brighton, full of happy visitors enjoying the exhilarating fresh air with the wonderful and full-of-life Palace Pier in the background.
How lovely – not an unwanted observation tower in sight.
What more could Brighton need? Oh, yes, a new Royal Sussex County Hospital to cater for the ever-increasing population of Sussex and to provide for the well-spoken-of, and highly skilled, doctors, nurses and staff who have performed miracles in a 19th-century hospital that is not fit for purpose.
