I write in response to your story about a bus worker sacked after removing a drunk from his bus (The Argus, March 10).

This is surely not right. The man was only doing his job.

Does anybody feel safe on a bus with a drunk waving a bottle? I don’t think so.

Personally, I hate going on buses. I only go on them if I really have to. I think they should put wardens on them so everybody can travel safely.

This man did the right thing but it’s a shame he has to pay for it by losing his job.
