So, rare and precious wildlife has been allowed to suffer and die at the Rotunda pond in Preston Park (The Argus, March 6).
This coming after the unnecessary deaths of so many much-loved fish and amphibians during similarly botched work at the Rockery Pond last winter.
Lessons clearly haven’t been learned. Why not?
It is outrageous that park wildlife should continue to suffer due to such obvious and repeated negligence. Excuses won’t wash this time. Heads must surely roll.
