WITH VIDEO: Brighton traffic is being delayed because of a car on fire on the London Road near Preston Circus.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue said: "We were called at 11.51am to reports of a car alight on London Road in Brighton.
"Crews from Preston Circus attended and found a blue Audi on fire. They used one hose reel jet to put it out.
"There are no reports of injuries. The fire was accidental."
Brighton and Hove Buses diverted services 5, 5A and 5B as a result. The road is now open again, but there is ongoing congestion as a result.
