A man was injured after being attacked by a gang.
The incident took place in The Strand, Goring, at 10.15pm on February 27.
The 24-year old victim told officers that he was walking home when he heard laughing behind him. He was then suddenly kicked, causing him to drop his mobile phone which broke apart. He was only able to recover his battery and back cover of the phone.
PC Kate Maloney said: "This was an unprovoked attack which has resulted in the victim's hand being bruised.
"After the victim was kicked, a group of three men or boys passed him.
They have been described as all around 6ft tall.
“Two were wearing cream or light-coloured hooded tops and jeans and the other was wearing a dark blue hooded top and jeans.”
Witnesses should call Sussex Police on 101.
