I attended a recent full council meeting in Brighton and Hove.
Yes, Labour and the Greens sided with one another – that was expected so a 2% rise in council tax it is.
My concern for our city comes from the Green Party – the Greens really are out of touch with reality and residents’ needs.
I listened to a meeting in housing room one, then full council and the budget. One must ask: do the Greens have any idea of procedure? They certainly need to swot up on what they are debating.
We have a few months left under the Greens and then they will be gone. Listening to them at the meeting, the sooner the better.
