Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after their dishwasher set on fire.
Emergency services were called to a property in The Ridge, Hastings, shortly before midnight on Friday night (March 7).
Their dishwasher had caught on fire, filling the kitchen with smoke.
Firefighters from The Ridge station in Hastings controlled the blaze while paramedics treated the occupants.
Both suffered smoke inhalation although their injuries are not thought to be serious.
