I read last Thursday’s front page (The Argus) with disgust.
The Green Party turned down the offer of £1 million from the Government and plans to put up our council tax by nearly 2%.
The cost of living is a challenge for everyone at the moment; the last thing we need is another tax rise.
The only people talking any sense in Brighton and Hove are the Conservative group.
Councillors Geoffrey Theobald and Ann Norman wanted to freeze council tax – good for them for being in touch with hard-working people.
I hope they win the election and sort out the inefficiency.
I trust them to give us good value for money.
