Bus station say So it appears the i360 will be built to attract more tourists to the city.
With the disgusting state of Pool Valley, I wonder what impression visitors get of our “coach station”.
Would it not be more sensible to improve that area for a fraction of the cost?
At the very least, build toilets, somewhere to buy a drink and somewhere to wait out of the cold and rain. There isn’t even a bus shelter. It could be made so much better.
We are a major tourist city, not a minor town, yet even some of these have bus/coach stations worthy of the name.

Over the past few months I’ve been reading about the i360 and its cost.
Perhaps the money would be better spent on an Olympic-size ice rink or a 24-hour coach station for Brighton and Hove.
We still haven’t had a reply from the council as to why we haven’t got a coach station.
