A teen is still critically ill almost a month after being struck by a car as he crossed the M23 on foot as he fled police.
The 19-year-old, of Crawley Down, was hit on February 9 around 11.15am.
He successfully crossed one carriageway and was passing the second when he was hit by a car.
He was raced to Royal London Free Hospital in Whitechapel where he remains. A 33-year-old man from Crawley was arrested nearby on suspicion of being carried in a vehicle taken without consent.
He has been bailed.
