Drag queens ran along Brighton seafront in their heels to encourage more people to take part in Sport Relief.
Drag artists from Adonis Cabaret, who have already donated £1,000, donned their make-up and outfits to take part in their own version of the Sport Relief Mile.
Coco Verdose, who had flown in from Colombia, said: “I came dressed for the occasion; it was all down to the exceptional killer heeled running boots. I’m not normally much of an athlete, but I’m always up for getting involved with a good cause and it seems I will do anything to win.”
This year’s Sport Relief takes place from March 21 to 23 with a number of events in Sussex for fundraisers to join.
The Brighton and Hove mile will take place on March 23, with the starting line at the Big Wheel.
Runners can choose one, three, or six miles. Fundraisers can also choose to swim or cycle as part of the Sport Relief Games. Sport Relief raised more than £50 million in 2012.
