A mother and father have been arrested on suspicion of child neglect after going missing with their three children.
Morritz Grayston, 34, left her home in Markwick Terrace, St Leonards, handed herself in to Hastings police station on Thursday and has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect.
She has been bailed until May 2.
On Thursday night Sussex Police issued an urgent appeal for information about the children’s father, Gareth Grayston.
Last night he was in custody having been arrested on suspicion of child neglect.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “The 48-year-old was detained by Essex Police and is now in custody at Hastings police station awaiting interview on suspicion of child neglect.
“The three children, aged eight, four and one, were found with him and are now being cared for.”
