A woman had to be rescued by firefighters after falling out of her immobility scooter on a riverbank.
Lewes firefighters came to the aid of the elderly woman who had fallen out of her scooter as she travelled along a dirt track off The Street in Rodmell at 9.15am this morning.
Crews used an inflatable rescue path to help the woman cross over to the right side of the stream where she received treatment from South East Coast Ambulance Service paramedics.
