A woman has died following a crash involving a coach and a Mini.
The 54-year-old woman died following the collision in Wartling Road, Pevensey, today at 7.35am.
The driver of the Mini, a 54-year-old local woman died of her injuries at the scene. The coach driver, a 43-year-old man from Eastbourne, was injured and taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton. No one else was involved in the collision.
Sergeant Paul Wood said: "We are appealing for witnesses to the collision which involved a blue Mini and a white single decker coach.
"We would also like to thank the local community for their patience while the road was closed and scene investigations carried out."
