Residents of Hollingdean are on the lookout for a giant roll of astro-turf to set the scene for the Lucky Dip Midsummer Fayre.
Held at The Dip, the day of entertainment will take place on June 21 from 10am-3pm.
People are welcome to set up stalls, selling anything from food to arts and crafts.
Organised by a group of 12 residents, the Lucky Dip prides itself on supporting community talent and encouraging residents to shop locally.
Community development worker, Elizabeth Lee said: “It was absolutely brilliant last year, we were very successful.”
With games, stalls and Morris Dancers lined up, organisers are keen to go ahead with their village green theme. Now all they need is the green.
Mrs Lee said: “If anyone knows where we might be able to borrow one from, please get in touch.”
Volunteers and entertainers are also welcome. “We’re always looking for more help,” said Mrs Lee.
“We would love to hear from people who may be part of a band, or want to put on a short play. That would be fantastic,” she added.
At the Yuletide Lucky Dip in December, the council granted a road closure.
Mrs Lee said: “We are in the process of applying and are confident we will be given one.”
