East Sussex County Council has released a list of schools in the county affetced by the industrial action today.

Confirmed partly closed today

Blackboys Church of England Primary School - Classes 2&4 open as normal. Classes 1&3 are closed to pupils.

Bonners Church of England Primary School - Class 1 closed all day; class 2 AM closed open, from 1.00 p.m; class 3 closed all day; class 4 closed all day; class 5 open all day.

Churchwood Community Primary School, St Leonards-on-sea - Year 6 will be open as normal. All other classes including the nursery will be closed. No Extended School Clubs will be running.

College Central, Eastbourne - All Core Sites are closed, PFL vocational courses will remain open.

Cuckmere House School, Seaford - Closed for year 7 and 8 only.

Dudley Infant School, Hastings - will remain open on Thursday however pupil absences due to closures of neighbouring schools will be authorised.

Framfield Church of England Primary School - Key Stage 1 (Peacocks and Kingfishers)- closed Key Stage 2 (Puffins and Eagles) - open Key Stage 2.

Grove Park School, Crowborough - Primary phase will be closed; secondary and 6th Form phases open.

Grovelands Community School, Hailsham - The folowing classes will be open as usual ;RAH RNB RGS, 1AB,1JG,2ED,2LW,2ZA,4MA,5AW,5RS,6CA,6GH,6RP.

Hailsham Community College Academy Trust - Open for 6th form study only.

Harbour Primary & Nursery School, Newhaven - Rockhopper (Year 1), Walrus (Year 4) and Sealions (Year 4) are closed. All other classes, before and after school clubs reamin open as usual.

Heathfield Community College - open for students in Year 11, 12 & 13.

Hollington Primary School, St Leonards-on-sea - School is closed for KS2, Badgers and Red Butterflies. All other classes are open.

Laughton Community Primary School - Jungle Class and Bugs Class will not be open. High Peaks and Underwater Classes will run as normal, as will after school clubs.

Marshlands Primary School, Hailsham - Blake and Wilson classes are closed but the other classes are open.

Meridian Primary School, Peacehaven - Years 1 and 4 will be closed.

Motcombe Community School, Eastbourne - Octopus Class and Bat Class will be closed due to Industrial action. All other classes are open.

New Horizons School, St Leonards-on-sea - only the Beauchamp Road site will be closed (this will affect Key Stage 2/3). The BEST Centre at Tile Barn Road is open as usual.

Nutley Church of England Primary School - Beech class is closed to pupils but all other classes are open as usual.

Parkland Infant School, Eastbourne - Year 1 classes kingfishers & robins closed. Year 2 and Reception classes open.

Peacehaven Heights Primary School - the Infant site and nursery will be open as normal, however the junior site will be closed.

Pebsham Community Primary School, Bexhill-on-Sea - Reception class only will be closed, all other year groups will be open.

Pevensey and Westham Church of England Primary School - Puffins and Classes 3,4,5,6,7 and 12 will all be open as normal. The school will be open to provide childcare for students of parents who cannot make other arrangements. Breakfast Club will open as normal but the after school nature club will not run.

Saxon Mount School, St Leonards-on-sea - partly closed. Call for details

Sir Henry Fermor Church of England Primary School, Crowborough - The following classes will be closed:: Hedgehogs, Otters, Kestrels, Chaffinches, Woodpeckers. All other classes remain open.

St Michael's Primary School, Withyham - Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 will not be operating. Year 5 and 6 will be in school as normal.

St Peter and St Paul Church of England Primary School, Bexhill-on-Sea - The following only are closed: RW, 2B, 2G, 3M and 6E - the children in these classes must not attend school. All other classes (RT, 1F, 1G, 3E, 4O, 4M, 5D, 5C and 6H) are open and children in these classes must attend school as normal.

St Thomas A Becket Catholic Infant School, Eastbourne - Reception Classes (T & H)will be closed for the day. The rest of the school will be open, as usual.

The South Downs Community Special School, Eastbourne - The East Site will be completely closed. The West Site is partially closed as advised.

The St Leonards Academy, St Leonards-on-sea - closed to students in Years 7-9, students in years 10 and 11 should attend.

Torfield School, Hastings - if you have not heard from the school, your child will not be able to attend on Thursday

Uckfield Community Technology College - Closed for Years 7 to 11; open for Sixth Form.

Wallands Community Primary School, Lewes  - Open to main stream year 6 pupils.

White House Primary School, Hailsham - The following classes are closed Turtles (Yr 1) Seahorse (Yr 2) Dolphin (Yr 3) Stingray (Yr 4) All other classes will be expected to attend as normal.

Willingdon Community School, Eastbourne - Open for all Year11 students who are taking GCSE maths examinations in November. In addition, the school will also be open for all students for whom parents are unable to arrange appropriate child care on that day.
