A teenager has been charged with a string of offences in connection with the robbery of four Worthing paperboys yesterday morning.
Eamon Kane, 19, no address given, has been charged with robbery, attempted robbery, assault with intent to commit robbery and theft from the person.
He appeared at Worthing Magistrates on Tuesday (8 October) and has been remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on 5 November.
The boys were attacked outside the Elm Grove Newsagents and Vino Newsagents in South Street. Two bikes and a mobile phone were taken.
Sergeant Jo Webb said: "We are still looking for a second suspect and anyone who saw any of the incidents or has any other information is asked to call us on 101 or e-mail contact.centre@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 166 of 07/10."
