Facebook has become an everyday part of modern life for millions of people. But should primary school children get in on the act?
Today, we report on a Woodingdean primary head who has reported pupils he has found on the site.
The social networking site rules say you must be at least 13 years old to sign up. But many younger children adjust their date of birth to join regardless.
Some parents believe that it's better they use Facebook under close supervision than behind their backs.
