TV and radio presenter Zoe Ball is urging people to saddle up for a sponsored bike ride.
Pedal in Preston Park takes place in Brighton later this month and the star is urging cyclists of all ages and abilities to get involved.
The event at the park's cycle track on October 26 is in aid of the Martlets Hospice in Hove and the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).
Zoe said: “Pedal in Preston Park is great family fundraising event as anyone with a bike can get involved.
“It is on the flat and you can do as many or as few laps as you like, so it really is open to anyone.
“Pedal is raising money for two charities that are close to my heart as I lost my dear stepfather, Rick, to MND last year and he was cared for by the Martlets.
“I really hope the event raises lots of much needed money for them both. If work commitments allow you may even catch a glimpse of me on my bike.”
The event, now in its fourth year, is open to anyone with a bike from six upwards.
Riders are sponsored for the target number of laps they chose to complete.
