A man was stabbed in the stomach by a group of men behind a McDonald's carpark.
The victim, in his 20s, from Catford, London, was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, for treatment for a stab wound and a broken arm.
He was attacked in a car park behind McDonald's in Haslett Avenue West, in Crawley, at about 4.30pm on Friday.
Three men are being questioned on suspicion of assault.
Detective Sergeant Glenn Willcocks said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who saw the incident or the men involved in the moments before or afterwards."
