A blind man had his special edition mobile phone stolen in a "despicable" robbery.
The 22-year-old victim had just got off a bus when he was approached and had the phone snatched.
The Nokia mobile phone was customised for blind people.
The robbery happened as he walked along Cross Street, St Leonards, on Wednesday at about 4.30pm.
The victim was not hurt in the attack but left shaken and distressed.
Detective Constable Dan Schiraldi said: "This is despicable crime because the victim is blind and he has had his special edition phone stolen.
"We are appealing for any witnesses who saw this to come forward."
The suspect is a white man, 6', aged about 25 to 35, with dark hair, and was wearing light coloured trousers, dark shoes, a dark waist length jacket and a white shirt.
A 31-year-old man from St Leonards has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and bailed until 1 November.
