I was surprised to see Unite supporting a pro-motoring lobby when it has so many members who work in the public transport sector (The Argus, advertisment, October 1).
If some of the suggestions by this lobby group are implemented they could undermine bus services (and possibly taxi services, too). This won’t be very good for their members in these sectors.
They also say they are against transport policies in Brighton and Hove, many of which are around promoting public transport.
I am therefore confused as to who they are representing.
