Volleyball fanatics got stuck into an unusual game of their favourite sport yesterday.
Members of the University of Brighton volleyball team played a match using a giant version of a National Lottery Lotto ball.
The big number seven flew back and forth over the net at the Yellowave centre in Brighton to celebrate the new Lotto game set to start this weekend.
The Lotto is set to increase from £1 to £2 a play – but organisers are promising bigger prize money and more lottery-funded projects as a result of the rise.
The university team were introduced to the sport through the lottery-funded Parklife Project.
Ball number seven is said to be the nation’s favourite lucky number.
