The Unchain The Brighton Motorist group has come up with seven roads it says should not be made 20mph (The Argus, September 27).
Most of these were ones which the council was giving extra consideration to in any case.
So why the big fuss? And why didn’t those involved use their seats on the Transport Partnership to discuss these roads?
If they had done so, I’m sure they would have received a fair amount of support, which the council would have found hard to ignore.
