Two drivers were hospitalised following a head-on collision that shut a major road for two hours.
Sussex Police closed the A259 Barnhorn Road in Bexhill from 4.30pm on Tuesday after a vehicle heading eastbound collided with two other cars heading west.
A 32-year old woman from St Leonards was taken to the Conquest Hospital with leg and shoulder injuries while 51-year old man from Eastbourne was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with hip injuries.
A 48-year old Eastbourne woman was treated at the scene for slight head injuries.
