A block of flats were evacuated after a kitchen fire.
Residents left a three-storey block in Newbury Road in the Pound Hill area of Crawley last night after fire broke out in the kitchen of a ground floor flat.
Two crews from Crawley Fire Station were called to the scene at 8.30pm and used two breathing masks and a hose reel to put out the fire which caused fire and smoke damage to about a tenth of the kitchen.
