A man was cut on the head by a pair of scissors after a row at a hairdressers.
Sussex Police were called to Queens Road in Hastings at about 2.05pm yesterday to deal with the incident.
Officers said one man was hit on the head while the other was injured by the metal piece of equipment.
Both men have been arrested for affray but were taken to Conquest Hospital in Hastings to be treated for their minor injuries.
Officers are currently on scene trying to establish what happened and are talking to witnesses.
Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact police on 101 quoting serial 913 of 30/9.
