A 56-year-old arrested in June on suspicion of fraud in connection with a probe into Direct Lettings has been rebailed.
The Brighton man, who is believed to be company boss Peter Leonard, answered bail on Sunday.
However, police have announced they have rebailed the man until January 14 “while investigations continue”.
The Western Road, Hove-based Direct Lettings closed its doors on May 17 this year.
A police spokeswoman said: “A 56-year-old man from Brighton arrested on suspicion of fraud by abuse of position has been rebailed until January 14 2014 while investigations continue.”
