An e-fit of a woman who attacked a ten-year-old schoolgirl in a park has been released.

The victim, from Angmering, was on a swing when she was approached by a blonde haired woman with a small child on Wednesday, September 11.

The woman told the victim to get off the swing before taking her child to a blue car, but she then returned to hit the victim on the neck and pulled her by the hood of her top.

The woman then got in the car and drove off. The victim suffered scratches to her neck.

PC Emma Lacey, of Sussex Police, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who may have been in Angmering Park on September 11 and saw part or all of what happened.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who recognises the woman in this e-fit. She may wear black glasses.

“The ten-year-old was left very shaken by what happened and I want to trace the woman as quickly as possible.”
