The shortest day of the year will be lit up one again Burning the Clocks, which has been lighting up the streets of Brighton for almost two decades, will be taking place on December 21.
It will feature a parade of lanterns through the streets before they are passed into a huge bonfire on the beach.
There will also be a fire show and fire sculpture, fireworks and live music.
Arts charity Same Sky created the event as an alternative to the commercial excesses of Christmas and as a way for the people of Brighton and Hove to get together and celebrate the festive season. More than 20,000 spectators now turn out to watch the 2,000-strong parade and take part.
Burning the Clocks is partly funded by Brighton and Hove City Council but the charity has to find most of the money for the event itself.
It is always looking for new sponsors for the event and offer a wide range of packages that cater to both family and business sponsorship.
These range from friends and family workshops to festival business events.
Anyone interested in being a part of the parade can buy a lantern pack with everything needed to make their own lantern. For more details, or to make a donation, visit www.samesky.co.uk.
