Investigations are continuing into the cause of a fire that badly damaged a terraced house.
Firefighters were called to the three storey building in Beech Hill, Wadhurst shortly before 6pm on Friday.
The roof and first and second floors were well alight when crews arrived.
Six fire engines from around East Sussex, along with an aerial ladder platform, a water carrier and a command support team, were called in to help tackle the blaze.
The building was in the middle of a row of five houses but crews were able to contain the fire to the one property.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said 70% of the roof, 50% of the second floor and 25% of the first floor were damaged in the blaze.
The fire was eventually brought under control and the operation was scaled back by 9.30pm.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
