It could almost have been me writing the letter that Councillor Ann Norman wrote (The Argus, September 20).
Exactly the same thing happened to me while about to turn left from Lewes Road into Coldean Lane. I indicated left and was about to move across the new bus lane when another car undertook me on my left, forcing me to drive straight on towards Lewes.
I could not turn around, so I had to go miles out of my way. This was the lesser of two evils as I could have had a collision.
There is no indication of where one is supposed to move into this bus lane in order to turn left. This is now a dangerous corner. It never was before the bus lane was there.
Something needs to be done before there is a serious crash.
