I have just enjoyed a pleasant stay in your green city.
The restoration of unloved spaces into spectacular flower beds, fountains and play areas in Brighton and Hove is impressive.
I enjoyed the tranquil areas, the refurbished church in Brighthelm and the parks with their Green Flag awards.
It is evident that Brighton and Hove believes in quality green spaces, cycle paths and libraries. It is such a friendly, caring place to be.
In terms of Government, MP Caroline Lucas’s fight against fracking and rip-off rail fares is to be admired.
And locally, coming from a place where libraries, SureStart centres and cycle paths are almost non-existent, I dream of a Green council.
Well done Brighton and Hove.
