I recently visited the new B&Q shop in Burgess Hill. It is good to have a store outside Brighton, for many reasons.
But who decided on the road layout outside the store?
Approaching from the Tesco end of the road, you have to drive past the new store and up to the next roundabout and turn around and come back again.
There is an island in the middle of the road to stop drivers making a right-turn into the store.
Why couldn’t there be an entrance from both sides?
The road is wide enough to have an exit lane instead of the long island. This isn’t very good planning, in my opinion.
