About 1,000 people flocked to a popular community festival to be treated with live music, activities and arty exhibitions.
The Tarner Community Festival went off with a bang again in 2013 as mayor of Brighton and Hove Coun Denise Cobb turned up with hundreds of others to soak in the atmosphere.
An open mic session with amplifiers and equipment donated by a local youth group saw children as young as three singing Baa-Baa Black Sheep to talented musicians putting their twist on the latest hits.
Community development worker Tony Silsby said: “It really was a magnificent day.
“It just brought the whole community together and everyone had a good time.”
