This bus was in a batch bought by Brighton Corporation in 1961 to complete the replacement of trolleybuses.
The Leyland Titans were the operators’ first to be provided with doors, improving safety for passengers.
This one was pictured at the Hollingbury terminus of service 46. The conductor can just be seen changing the blind for the return journey to Old Steine as a 26.
On the side is an advertisement for the then popular bars run by Edlins.
