A 16-year-old girl who died in a car collision has been named as Jasmine Elkamsi, from Bognor.
She died on the A285 Halnaker after a crash at 6.34am yesterday.
A silver vauxhall corsa with four occupants lost control with Ms Elkamsi pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other occupants, one male, 17, from Chichester, and two females, both 16, from Bognor, were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, to be treated for injuries.
Arundel Road Policing Unit is appealing for the driver of a small black car to contact them.
The vehicle is believed to have been in the vicinity of the fatal road traffic collision.
The driver is described as a white male aged possibly in his 50s.
Police enquiries are ongoing with witnesses asked to contact police on 101 quoting Operation Tamworth.
