Three teenagers are in hospital this morning after a fatal road collision yesterday morning.
A female was pronounced dead after a Silver Vauxhall Astra with four occupants lost control on the A285 Halnaker, near Chichester.
The collision happened at around 6.45am and the road was closed for much fo the day as police examined the scene.
Police have not yet idenitifed the person.
A 17-year-old male from Chichester and two 16-year-old girls from Bognor were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton where they are still being treated for their injuries.
Witnesses are asked to call police on 101 quoting Operation Tamworth.
