Further to the letter from Steve Reeves, Brighton and Hove Albion’s transport manager (The Argus, September 10) headed “Cycle path points”, only some of the path has been completed.
The section from Bexhill Road to the Brighton and Hove border has not been started and the section between the border and Falmer Village is incomplete, although work is in progress.
I would suggest that Mr Reeves take a walk from the Amex stadium at Falmer to Bexhill Road to confirm my comments. I would be happy to meet him at Bexhill Road.
As Mr Reeves is described as the transport manager, he is presumably responsible for the withdrawal of the bus service from Rottingdean via Woodingdean to the stadium, which was funded by the club along with services from other parts of Brighton and Hove and was included in the price of our season tickets.
This has been replaced by a Seagull Travel service, for which we have to pay and also have to book in advance. The price of our season tickets has not been reduced so it seems to me that the Albion is discriminating against fans who live in these areas.
Peter Spence, Crescent Drive South, Woodingdean
