A colony of pigeons settling in a portable kitchen forced a charity to postpone its launch event due to take place at the weekend.
Think Free, a charity that aims to improve the lives of people living with food-related illnesses, was due to launch in Lewes but has been forced to rearrange.
Chris Meaney, chief executive of Think Free, said: “We do not feel that it would be safe to put an open kitchen in that location and we do not wish to risk public health.
“Given that we are a health-related charity and wish to promote healthy eating we have taken the decision to postpone the launch and would like to apologise for any inconvenience.
“We apologise for any inconvenience.”
Another date for the event is being arranged.
