A two-year-old boy had to be rescued by firefighters – after getting his head stuck in rungs of the ladder of his fire engine-shaped bed.
The youngster was visited by real-life firemen and women after the incident at home in Churchill Avenue, Hastings, shortly after 9.15pm on Sunday.
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said emergency crews were called to free the lad after alternative measures to free him failed – he was eventually released safe and well.
