Chefs from Brighton and Rotterdam swapped kitchens for an international chef exchange during the Brighton and Hove Food and Drink Festival.
Chef Pepijn(corr) Schmeink(corr) of Restaurant Eendracht(corr) celebrated the best of Holland at a special event at Hotel du Vin, Brighton,.
Now Rob Carr, head chef at the Hotel du Vin in Ship Street will take the best of Sussex food to Rotterdam next month.
The International Chef Exchange has been running between Brighton and other culinary cities for two years with previous exchanges between Maastricht and Lyon.
Food festival bosses are planning an exchange with Toronto in Canada next year.
Pepijn Schmeink said: “I was really excited about visiting Brighton. I brought my restaurant's communal dining feel to the Hotel du Vin with a menu featuring produce from farms that we work with in the Netherlands, including cheeses and charcuterie, and of course, Dutch beers.”
