East Sussex County Council may well have had a few complaints about the roadworks on the A259 between Newhaven and Seaford.

Well, I think it will have a few more now. The surface it has put on this road is a disgrace. It hasn’t been rolled and is like going through the desert. There are ridges and a lot of dust, especially where you turn right into Claremont Road, in Seaford. Come the winter, all our money will have been wasted. No excuses please.
