I was intrigued to read Neil Vowles’s report in The Argus (August 28) about council black-lists.

I agree warning council staff of badly behaved tenants makes sense, but what consideration is given to those residents who live close to these tenants?

Most antisocial tenants will be in breach of their tenancy agreement. Perhaps every council ought to vet applicants bidding for accommodation prior to making any offer of tenancy.
