Golfers soaked up the sun, sank putts and scaled new heights of fundraising at a charity event for a trust that helps young people achieve their goals.
The Edward Starr Charitable Trust Golf Day, held at East Brighton Golf Club, saw 13 teams tee off to raise money for the charity which.
Organiser Trish Starr said: “It has been absolutely brilliant and everybody has had such a good time.
“Everything has just been wonderful, the golf club was fantastic and we’re already booked in for next year.
“We had 13 teams turn up this year, which is great, but we’re already looking to go bigger and better next year.” The day was won by the Packham team with 134 Stableford points and received their prize on a day where nearly £3,000 was raised.
Trish, the late wife of Edward Starr, added: “It is our aim to help children succeed, and this money will go a long way.”
