Nick St Clare would like, it seems, for the police to nick David Cameron as the latter approves of fracking (The Argus, August 31).
Mr Cameron is answerable to the English legal system – it is no crime to approve of fracking.
Furthermore, Cuadrilla has planning permission to drill at Balcombe so no laws are broken there, either.
Mr St Clare’s universal principles of law are not a legal system that will get him anywhere in this country.
Of course, if he thinks he has got a case against Mr Cameron, he can take his case to a solicitor and sue our Prime Minister. If he is on benefits, he will get legal aid.
I don’t suppose our Prime Minister reads The Argus or he would be quaking in his boots by now – Syria and Ed Miliband could quite slip his mind...
